Morning Ritual

Every morning Maya and I watch a little bit of a cartoon movie. It's the best way for me to get my snuggle fix! Kirk got some shots of us in the midst this morning...

Last week, Maya and I went to a nursing home to play. She got to play with instruments, balloons, bubbles, and a big parachute! It was so fun to see her entertain the older folks. Fun was definetely had by all! Here are some shots from the morning...

Maya got an awesome kid-friendly digital camera for her birthday and this is the first actual photo she took. What do you think? I think she's a natural!

Maya's birthday party!

We had SO much fun on Sunday! Maya's birthday was an absolute blast. We went into her room with 10 helium balloons when she woke up and she was so excited! Her castle ball pit and kitchen set that Grandpa Williams made was a hit with all the girls we had over, too. By the end of the day, Maya was completely zoned out. She had a great time. Family Portraits!

Our friends Kim and Ben, and their daughter Logan met up with us last Saturday to take some family portraits on top of Horsetooth mountain. Ben is a natural with photography, so I asked if he would take some of us also. These are pretty much the first family portraits we've ever had ( the photographer never gets photographed). I love them!
